We had booked a silky silver Esteem from KRISHNA MOTORS, Thane, to be delivered to us on 8th nov’04. When we casually went to check our car, 1 day prior to delivery, we were SHOCKED to see a Golden colour esteem, registered in our name. To top it all, the dealers were not even aware of it. We pointed it out to them, and they didnt even apologise. They blamed it all on miscommunication between their thane and mulund office.
We had bought a Car, not a toy. How can they make such a big mistake. They started covering this mistake by showing us a article in paper which showed some similar mistake by a Ford dealer. If they know such mistakes happen, and they keep a copy with themselves, Shouldnt they be more careful !!!!!!!.
Last year it seems they had done the same mistake by giving a black zen instead of red. For this mistake, they offered us a compensation of just 5000rs, if we take the golden car. Orelse wait...till our car is available. ...in market.
They have made a gross error, only bcoz of carelessness. The emploee who had booked our car was even more arrogant. He just refused to admit the mistake and refused to give apology. We didnt require their apology, but atleast some sympathy.
They have assured us our car in 15days, but refused to pay any compensation if not delivered, we have no choice now, but to wait as in all other places the waiting period is 2 months........
Buying a car is still a very big thing for a common person. It’s considered auspicious to buy such investments in festivals like diwali. Now we would have to wait and wait till our big dream is fulfilled.........
