Natural star Nani has deliver super hits with his previous films. his average films also score big collections at boxoffice he is in good form. this time he comes with in Merlapaka gandhi direction. lets see Nani scores another hit with this film or not?
Plot: Krishna( Nani) is a happy go lucky guy from a village in Chitoor district .trying to find a girl to fall in love. one day he falls in love with Village president grand daughter Priya(rukshar dillion). he tries to impress her. on the other hand in europe Krishna’s look alike arjun(Nani) is a rockstar . and he loves a indian girl named Subba laxmi( Anupama Parameshwaran). later upset with arjun attitude subba Laxmi leaves arjun and came back to india. as soon as she lands in India both priya and Subbalaxmi kidnapped by a gang. How they resuce there girls? how Krishna and arjun fight against a Kidnapping mafia is the rest of the story?
Performance: Nani plays a dual role . a rural guy from Chittoor and a rock star form Europe. this film showcase Nani as complete mass hero . he is exceptional in Krishna Role. The way he spoke Chittoor slang is very good. But as As a rock star he doesn’t suit this role. his acting as Rockstar is too monotonous. Anupama Parameshwaran is good at looks. Rukshar looks decent and does her role neatly she looks good in songs.Brahmaji role is Excellent and he comedy timing is superb and he evokes decent laughs in first half. Fun bucket fame Mahesh vitta creates good comedy with his dialogues.
Music: Music by Hip hop Tamizha is good .Daari choodu song is instant chartbuster .and he gives some excellent background music.
Cinematography: cinematography by Karthik gattamaneni is rich .he captures rural and europe locations quite beautifully.
Analysis: first halp runs with arjun rural comedy with witty dialogues. till the interval there is no much story happens. screenplay went on wrong lines. Nani is a complete mismatch in the poorly written script.
director has not used any novel screenplay. 2nd half ends as a dump squib. there are too many action scencs in the 2nd half. and logic goes missing here. a song comes at 2nd half could trimmed completly. yet another main drawback is there is no strong villain in this film. after the hilarious 1st half the film completly changes track and became kidnap drama. though some comedy scencs and couple of songs make 1st half watchable. 2nd half doesn’t hold interst . this film should satify the hardcore fans of Nani.
