I purchased a GM vehicle because of good image I had in mind, but now it is reality that I am facing issues. I wrote sometime back also about the service center issues in Bangalore to gm care but no response.
I am writing this after having lot of trouble created by Kopex guys(Bangalore), please go through the details below:
1) I gave my vehicle for servicing(20k kms): At Kropex India Limited Bangalore, Date-17/12/2011, Adviser name: Vikram
I clearly told them that I am hearing some noise in front wheel please check it.same day evening I got my vehicle but same noise was coming while I was driving down to my home from service centre.
I took back my vehicle and showed to Mr. Vikram and he was telling no did all check up, then I asked him to give me a road test.
He drove the vehicle and hear the same noise then he started explaining that it is a common problem in Spark all vehicle has it, nothing to worry.(If it is a common problem then why can’t GM fix this in all vehicle)
I insisted then he said ok you bring your vehicle some other day we will fix the problem.2) I was keep calling them but they were reluctant to take the vehicle, finally they said I have to come in working days(that means I have to take off from my office). According to Kropex guys weekends is pretty busy so they can’t handle this kind of work.
3) I gave my vehicle for correcting that noise issue in front wheel, date: 26/12/2011, adviser name: Vikram
They called me for taking vehicle delivery in evening 6PM.When I went I see one dent in back door and right side mud flap missing, when contacted they were puzzled and started asking each other.I was very tensed to see this, but then Mr. Vikram said "It is very small dent we will correct it when you come next time for service". what kind of service centre is this. Then he fixed a new mud flap for my vehicle. But I see there is nothing they did in full day, the noise was still there.I drove back and started shouting on them and Mr Vikram(So called service adviser) was trying to find who was doing vehicle.
They took 15-20 mins and correct some issue with front wheel. My point is then what were they doing with my vehicle full day. Are Kropex is using servicing vehicles for some business.
I Felt terribly bad, I have no words why I did my biggest mistake of purchasing a GM vehicle.
My friends have suggested me to go for Hyundai OR Maruti because they have quite a number of service stations, but I made wrong choice only because of brand name of GM. It is not that none of there vehicle is competitive with GM’s spark, ALTO, wagonR are good cars.
These guys are just miss using the vehicles and I think they are handing over this vehicles to some private mechanics, unfortunately I don’t have any other service center near by. After this I learnt a lession that I will not go to kropex for servicing. First thing is that they don’t do the work they are suppose to do and on top of it they’ll not show regret also.
I don’t think I recommend GM vehicles to anyone now on.
It is only in promotions that when you purchase a vehicle you will have smile on your face(at least for 3 YRS).
When asked for feedback: I said I will contact GM regarding this issue then kropex executives were telling me that where will you go you have to come to us only. because they were telling that there is no other GM authorized service center in Bangalore. It is kind of monopoly now and they know that customer can not go anywhere for servicing.
For me it is like a trap to get into, I am planning to sell off this vehicle and purchase the one with good brand+ have servicing capabilities. Overall it was a good lesson to learn from. I will spread it to the people so that I can save them.
