While many movies lack originality( story line, plot, action etc.) Krrish takes that to a new level. Reminds you of every Hollywood superhero movie you may have watched especially movies like Superman-Man of Steel, Ironman, X-Men etc.
Kangana gets better role than that of Priyanka who plays the better half of Krrish. Rajpal Yadav gets a raw deal and plays a pathetic small role. Good talent wasted here. Character of’Kaal’ played by Vivek Oberoi is good though. Few foreign faces also grace the occasion.
Public is supposed to act stupid as nobody( not even the all powerful Kaal) is supposed to figure out that Krrish and Krishna are the same particularly when the whole family is dancing around the statue of Krrish. Weird small face mask is supposed to snub the common sense of general public.
Packed with a lot of subtle advertising( which affects viewer’s subconscious mind) targeted especially at children( like Krrish father eating Bournvita, Tata cars, Flair pen and a lot other stuff.) So blame the movie if you feel the urge to buy any of these stuff after watching the movie!
Movie also heavily promotes Krrish brand stuff which kids and small children are likely to buy and create market for products like Krrish toys, wrist bands, stationery. I’m not against these but what is unique here is that Krrish actually promotes these things within the movie.
On the positive side the movie has some great action scenes, effects and cinematography. You won’t really feel that bored. Kids will enjoy anyhow. Don’t expect much from the movie. You’ll keep thinking which movie did you see a particular type of scene etc.!

P.S: Prasad’s IMAX in Hyderabad is showing this movie in IMAX theater also even though this is NOT an IMAX Movie. My suggestion is to watch at least from 6th row backwards if you want to watch in IMAX theater. Otherwise it will make your head spin.
