I think with my krish expereince I have realised two major things first being that all that is reported by news media is not always true and in bollywood you are not always shown what is promised the reason I say this is it was reported that krish is fully booked for two weeks so I go to the local multiplex expecting the housefull board to be yanked to my face but to my shock I manage to get middle row seats for saturday evening show one hour before show and one other area where krish betrays public is the superhuman part as it is basically forms 30 minutes of 3hour film and this disappoints kids immensely.the film definately belongs to hritik who works his pants off but is let down by weak script and story and even normally good rajesh roshan delivers a disappointing soundtrack with one of songs being lifted straight out of turkeys national anthem.the film would have been better if more of superhero stuff and less of lovestory would have been show and I definately think it is far inferior to koi mil gaya in terms of overall quality
story
the film basically is story of krishna(hrithik) who is the son of rohit and has inherited special powers from him and therefore is very brilliant and strong so therefore his granny(rekha) takes him away far from human civilisation so that he is not exploited by others for his super powers and does not meet his end like his father who dies while trying to build a supercomputer that can predict future for dr arya(nasseruiddin shah) who wants to be god and rule the world but as luck would have it krish he runs into priya(priyanka chopra) a tv reporter and falls in love with her but she comes to know of krish superpowers and invites him to singapore in pretext of marriage proposal so that she can show him to world and earn money so krish reaches singapore and immediately swings into action there he collects money for disable, saves children from a fire at circus and rescue his dad rohit who is not dead but still in captivity of dr arya and what follows next is predictable.i think film love storyline is bad while forced product placements are no good but most bewildering part is wondering how did priety zinta agree to do one scene in the film which is unintentionally funny
performance
krish-hrithik like always works very hard and is heart and soul of the film and performs actionscenes very well
priya-priyanka chopra appears very uncomfortable as priya and is let down by bad makeup
dr arya-nasseruddin shah is wasted in a strange role and is very irritating
granny-rekha is ok as granny
manini de should stick to tv and is unintentionally scary
