We booked this hotel after seeing a couple of reviews in the very same mouthshut.com and I was really glad we did that. Our window was overlooking the beautiful Mountains of Raja seat, this is the first time I stayed in such a scenic location. The place is neat and professional. Staff are friendly. The complimentary breakfast is simply yummy. The dinner is also very good, only that staff take too long to bring the food to table.
The staff also informally rent their bikes for outing, (we rented at Rs.300 per day, we have to bear the petrol charges) so we can make use of that. cab service is also available. Pretty close to the bus stand.
We went in november and found that the areas in coorg get dark very soon. It’s kind of scary to walk in the dark, especially since the area is also hilly. The surroundings of the hotel also get dark, so better to leave early in the morning and plan to retun to hotel by 6.30 PM. At 1300 rupees per day, it’s a bit expensive, but worth spending @ beautiful coorg. You can book online through authorised KSTDC agents.
