My friend has a KTM 200 and I decide never to buy a bike which does not give a good after sales service
He has bought this bike spending a lakh on it and in 3 months of use the bike starts making noise we take it to the service station in Goregoan(Mumbai) and we meet with a manager and then the hassle starts, He(Manager) says he will get the noise rectified and also service the bike.
In the evening we pick the bike everything is working smooth after 4 days again the same noise we again reach the service center. This problem went on for a year at least visiting the service center more than 100 times and the free services gets over, after a year when we visit for the same problem they says we have come to know the problem and the problem is with the fuel pump which just costed 250 rupees only.
If you see for just 250 rupees they pulled it for a year and later informed the problem because the bike was in free service period they had to change it free thats the reason they waited till the free services get over and then start charging
My question is simple if they wanted money they could have been clear and we would have payed for it than going thru the hassle for one year and then telling the problem. Never buy a foreign product because their after sales service is pathetic.
