Seriously! This 2k17 duke 390 comes in a feature packed state from cosmetic updates to mechanical. KTM has done a tremendous job in duke 390 and packed it with whole lots of power, technology and much more. Here is the review-
engine: engine is same as the earlier dukes of 373.27cc but tuned it properly to cut heat emision and also made it euro4/BS4 norms. the 1 cylinder engine is liquid-cooled with fi technology.
Power: 2k17 duke produces same 43.5 hp of power bt well increased in torque of 37 nm. the ride by wire technology helps the throttle in quick reaction without loosing any time compared to earlier regular wired throttle control.
Brakes: now with that whooping speed 1 need to hv better braking too. in the front it gets 320mm big disc brakes with dual channel running ABS and in rear it gets 240mm disc which are good enough to control this beast. The tyres available are from metzeler which seems to be very sticky with the road.
Feature & tech: means there is a whole list of feature that 2k17 dukes comes with. Like the bifurcated led headlamp with daytime running led drills.( AHO implented) , Ride by wire technology, TFT lcd speedometer console which connected to mobile phone using bluetooth, KTM My ride, a well slunged exhaust pipe. and much more technical updates are done.
My opinion: without any 2nd second thought. You can buy this 2k17 duke 390. There is no one who can beat this beast in its segment. Duke 390 available in 3 colours and it cost starting from 2, 25, 000 ex showroom delhi. go for itt.
