This movie is a MIX of Parent Trap and Chaalbaaz and many other hindi movies already made with the similar story line. With stereotyped sequences and a predictable plot the movie turns out to be a sheer waste of talent with nothing new to offer.
The movie is a real test to your patience and the efforts of the director to make you laugh will surely drive you to boredom. The movie lacks momentum whatsoever.
There isn’t any need to recount the story line. U guys might already have figured it out. Kajol’s performance was surely a saving grace, as usual she was at her best and managed to play the double role with fabulous skills. but she surely need to concentrate on her costumes. It was a pleasure to see Rati Agnihotri after a very long time, she looked gorgeous and carried herself with grace. With the role of a sharaabhi dad, Rishi Kapoor did not have much to do. Sunil shetty was likeable. It was good to see the comic side of this action hero.
Music by AnuMalik is a let-down. Except for the Number’’ Saamne bhait kar’’, none are worth remembering.
On the whole the experience of the movie is definitely not Meethi. U still can enjoy the movie if U r an ardent fan of Kajol’s and can manage to keep ur brain box aside for a while.
