Kumta is a beautiful place in the Uttarakannada district in the state of Karnataka. Agriculture and Carpenting are major occupation in that place. Kumta has all the facilities like Auto LPG, Bustand , Railway station etc. Most trains have stop there. So many Hotels are available there.
The distance from Kumta to Goa is only 145 km. Nirvana Beach, a new tourism destination, is located at a distance of 12 km from Kumta. Similarly, Gokarna an important tourist destination, is only 32km away from the Kumta. People from all these important tourist destination come to Kumta to buy goods. However, there is still development to come here.
My father in law and mother in law have Ayurvedic center in Gokarna. So they live there. Whenever Husband and I have time, we stay in Gokarna with my husband’s father and mother for few days. While there, we go to the Kumta to buy things. Goods are available at low price. It’s a nice place. I like Kumta so much.
