Kuntala waterfall located in Kuntala, Adilabad district, Telangana. It is located on kadem river in Neredigonda Mandal.
It is highest waterfall in the state of Telangana with a hight of 147 feet.
According to the prevalent local belief, kuntala waterfall got it’s name after Shakauntala, the beloved wife of king Dushyanth, the pair fell in love with each other. the local also believe that Shakuntala used to bathe by the waterfall.
The best time to visite is in the peak and post monsoon that means from August to December. The waterfall is situated in serene location with wonderful view’s of the nature surrounding thick forest.
