I am a student in a college affiliated to Kurukshetra University. Here I’ll tell you all the pros and cons of the University.
PROS
The one and only pros of KU is that it is a GOVERNMENT UNIVERSITY which is valued above the private universities in India.
CONS
There are a large number of cons listed below
1) The main point for degradation in it’s value is the RESULT. The examination management in KU is the worst. They carelessly check the answer sheets and give the WORST RESULTS.
This even degraded the University from A-grade to C-grade in the recent past.
2) There are a huge number of colleges affiliated to Kurukshetra University. Due to improper management system, there is a massive delay in the declaration of the results.
For an instance, The result of the 1st semester is never declared before the 3rd semester.
3) Delay in the results leads to tension and stress among the students who have to reappear for a particular examination. This leads to frustration due to which students are not able to concentrate on their respective courses.
Due to the above listed cons, I would not recommend you to join a college affiliated to Kurukshetra University.
