I got a bit worried before I flew Kuwait because of some negative comments/feedbacks on the internet. However, no incidents in my case, and I was rather happy with the service given the money I paid.
My flight was between London Heathrow and New York JFK airports. I checked in at Heathrow and the staffs at check-in counter are very friendly and polite (Im not White by the way). The flight was 40 minutes delayed though.
On-the-flight entertainment was not so great, they showed movies I barely heard of. Anyway, I didnt mind so much, as Im not a big Hollywood fan. The food was average Western style, could be better, could be worse. I spilled some cola, and three flight attendants ran towards me and gave me dry tissue, wet tissue, and warm towels. That one Im impressed.
The return leg was also fine. However when we lined up to check in, one staff came toward us and picked up white people and attempted to upgrade them to the business class. I was with my boyfriend whos white. Though he wasnt to travel with me, since we were together they assume that hes a customer, too, so we got picked up as well. I was a bit amazed how racism works here, especially when this airline company is non-white whatsoever. Anyway, I wouldnt complain since Im benefited as well, and also because Im grown up enough to understand how people feel about colour.
The flght back to London was okay, just like when I flew to New York City. Seats are small, food is okay, not so much of entertainment on board. All in all, given the price I have no complaints against this airline company, and will recommend it to you if youre a budget traveller who seeks for good value for money.
