Pav Bhaji vs. Honey buns:
This represents the two families and their characteristics.
The Families:
Mathuria family consists of the parents and three daughters....eldest being nimmo....in other words the Pav bhaji’s
The Sehgal’s are the richy-rich style.......the Honey buns
The Mathuria’s:
Nimmo is the happy-go-lucky natured daughter...........who tries to keep everyone happy......the bond of the family.........a very clumsy one actually........Nimmo is chosen to be the replacement for her dad’s retirement job postion which is in the sehgal’s industries.........to be the bread winner of the family........when seh gets the job........she becomes friends with her boss Vikrant.........and starts loving him but she doesnt know that Vik loves her sister Naina. Nimmo is shattered and sacrifices her love for Naina who later breaks up with Vikrant when she figures that he won’t be able to pay for her high maintenance lifestyle. The Mathuria’s indulge in some type of share market business in which they loose their mortgaged property........and become need of money......Naina runs away b/c she can’t handle their loss
The Sehgal’s:
Suave and Savvy.........the hots of the town........the cream of the soup......anything for the Sehgals......a joint family..........consisting of teh gradn parents and their 2 sons.......and their wives with their kids........and one widowed daughter in law...............the eldest grandson is Kunal.........eyed by every girl.........a womanizer..........carefree.........business tycoon........eligible bachelor.......Kunal Sehgal..............he is the backbone of the Sehgal’s business........the most responsible.....Dada ji decides to get Kunal hitched -- ahum ahum the married way........Kunal opposes and Dada ji being the stubborn tail........refuses to give him any of his property if he doesnt get married.........Kunal and his chamcha’s .......his cousin Rishabh and his head butler KK give him the idea to buy a wife for one year and leave her when Kunal is given his property........Kunal agrees.....
Two and two together:
The Pav Bhaji’s need money and the Sehgal’s need to buy a wife.............Do you hear a link??........That’s it..............you’re absolutely correct! Nimmo sees the ad for a very conveniant job........cuz she’s need of money......and goes for the interview. Kk takes the interview and declares her "wife material"..........After some no’s and yes’s ..........the wedding is declared..........the honey buns are surprised to see Kunal’s choice...... for he being a casanova voided for such a simple and plain Jane..........and the big fact that Kunal and Nimmo hated each other........because Nimmo disgraced the Buns by saying somethign against the Sehgal’s, Nimmo also ruined Kunal’s cousins engagement caterign..........and tortured Kunal’s dog........and the list goes on..............so Kunal and Nimmo convince everyone about their marriage........and everyone goes along......
Post Marriage:
Kunal and Nimmo try to pretend to "fight"..............so they can declare their divorce gradually...but everytime their plan fails. Along with herself Nimmo also bring she maid in her dahej that annoys Kunal..............Nimmo has to forcefully do things she doesnt do................like wear skimpy clothes for her ghar pravesh........doing the karvachaut for someone she dislikes........picking out clothes for her confused husband............and also pretending to be the happily married new couple at their honeymoon in maurituis because they were followed by spy’s from the pav bhaji’s and the honey bun’s. In mauritius............Kunal finds his ex-love.....who he hastn forgotten all durign this time............
After honeymoon they decide to make it through the year and then opt for divorce..........and durign this time......Nimmo actually starts loving Kunal..........and here enters Natasha........planned by the evil buns...........to create a rift............Nimmo and Kunal have a consumation night which Kunal doesnt remember.......he thinks it was Nats..............Nimmo is shattered............
Fast Forward:
Nats knows the truth and accepts Kunal..........Kunal always thanking Nimmo roll eyes.........and then half way into the year..............Kunal signs a deal that wrecks the sehgal empire.........he is blamed for everythign even though it was Nats that forced him to sign it.........and then Kunal is kicked out with Nimmo...........they live in a chawl........Kunal starts adopting to his new life......and then Nimmo’s uncle has some kind of loss due to the floos in his business and Kunal starts handling the business to recover it from losses...........and the Pav Bhaji’s help him.......and during this course Kunal starts loving Nimmo cuz Nat’s doenst have time for him and always belittle’s him and also refuses his offer of doing some errand............And so Nimmo helps him during hte 6 months..........and then bam...........Dada ji declared that everything about the Sehgal’s loss in business was not true..........the fact that it was dada ji’s and Nat’s idea to reform Kunal.........the year is over and they unwillingly sign the divorce...........Nimmo decides to do a mass communications course in Delhi..........and at the station........Kunal proposes to Nimmo but Nimmo tells him that he’s just confused and that he loves Nats..........Kunal is left heartbroken.........as Nimmo waves goodbye.
One year later:
Nimmo comes back from Delhi..........Kunal is married to Nats............his marriage is just a farce for the media.............and they keep on argueing aboat everything..........and Nimmo get’s this job at a Radio Raaga....................and meets this other guy Palaash...........they become good friends........but Nimmo’s heart still beats for Kunal...........circumstances always lead them to face each other..................and Nat’s starts suspecting Kunal and Nimmo.............and Kunal draws near to Nimmo.......he confesses his love for Nimmo again and again Nimmo still refuses.........she tells him to try to fix his marriage with Nats..........................Kunal goes to Nats and hears Nat’s telling everyone that her marriage has been broken reason being Nimmo.
Now:
