I can’t believe I sat down in front of the TV and totured myself for 3 hrs. If just can’t believe Aftab would go for such a story. The movie starts with him being CRAZY for this Gal called Sandhya (Amisha). He has been in Love with her for the last 4 yrs. On the other hand she doesn’t even give a damn about him but he is okay with that. He gets beaten up by her Exteremely dangerous father, gets locked up in jail and YET.....he doesn’t give up. She makes it absolutely clear to him that she has no intention to fall in love as she has to get a Gold medal in Comp.
Science (Her Mothers dream). Aftabs bro (Jackie) who is a surgeon even goes to her house to ask her father fo her hand in marriage to his bro.......although she doesn’t want him or like him but the obsession seems to have reached the entire clan.
Aftab is so madly, deeply in love that he isn’t even present for his brothers funeral as he is busy looking for Sandhya. After Jackies funeral Amisha comes to Aftab and says ’’I Love U’’ & seriously I thought he’d jump up & down as his 4 yrs dream has come true. I was actually sitting there & cursing him for being da biggest Looser there ever is & for choosing such a story that actually will make fans hate him. But instead he says that it’s sad that it took him 4 yrs to find out that she loves him and that he lost everything to hear that etc etc.
I guess she Only says I L U as she felt sorry for him that he lost his bro coz of her. Jackie was actually driving thinking about his bro & how he might committ suicide if he doesn’t get his love and has an accident & dies. So the ending is that Aftab decides to find a job and Amisha pursues her dream to get her gold medal.
