Does this serial...or any of these ’’social drama’’s aired by the dozens through several channels..really teach anything about relationship?, that they are supposed to?
I think most of them are... big words, big dialogues, big principles..without any semblence. A lot of this I think is pure hypocricy if you take them as preachers of ideology in family relationships..I think they should be viwed purely as tear-jerkers rather than anything else. I dont think, in real life, members of any family behave or talk in the ’’maska-butter’’ way these serials show their characters do. I know, a serial or story, does not, or is not supposed to, depict day to day life. Meaning of ’’story’’ is, something out of the ordinary. But the trouble is whether the ’’production team..(including the story-writer)’’ expects it or not, but almost all viewers/fans of hese ’’social’’ serials, think of them as true-to-life preachers of our society.
Most of these ’’Social Drama’’s are a big bore. I’d much rather watch someting more informative like a news-channel, or National Geographic Channel or Discovery channel..or..so on.
