Kyunki..... is an extremely difficult script to understand. If one misses one episode.. rest assured u will understand the story in the next or even a month later.. coz the story is so tight that it sueaks everytime it moves??? at a fast pace. Of all the serials under the Balaji Banner this serial takes the biggest slice of the cake. We have Ba who should be awarded a Guiness Book prize for her long score in the serial... just imagine grandchildren and their children and their children... and the Producer is determined to keep her as a healthy 100+??? matriarch of the family.
Then comes Mihir papa, chachu and Mihir dadu in a dashing hairstyle with a silver hip flask to boot - he is the ultimate man who drowns his desires in wine while Maneka [Mira] is so desperate to consummate the marriage that she always has the look of orgasmic pleasure. Well.. I think Ekta kapoor has great inspirations... does this happen in you rfamily or mine. Ofcourse all have wily aunts, devious uncles trying to outsmart the other... but this Virani household resembles a brothel, where everyone is scheming to outshine the other in melodramatic performances.
Then comes Tulsi ma... honestly Tulsi is a great actress - and this is not a snide comment. But she is best when she cries and delivers her dialogues with streaming eyes and stutters incoherently. No wonder that other good actresses have long given up the dream of getting the coveted best actress award at Star Plus Annual Star Parivar Awards.
Every other day I hear my colleague say, ’KSBKBT’ is a pain... u think u have a crusader, when your hopes fall and you come to know that she still watches it avidly.
The issue is , do people watch the serial because it has touches of reality or because many have a distorted thought process which makes them bay for more cruelty, more vileness and stupid dialogues which lead to nowhere.
Ekta Kapoor talks about portraying women rights in her serials. A good thought.. but how do the vamps qualify? Or for that matter how does Ekta relate as a woman to the script. Titillation is certainly exciting in small doses.. an overdose makes it sluttish!
