L&T’s Medisure Classic Mediacl Insurance. Absolutely useless and of No use. They sell their policies with tall promises of hassle free claim and reimbursement but it’s a nightmare to make claims. My bike slipped and I fell which resulted in a broken right shoulder. First thing noticed, is that their tie ups with hospitals are pathetic. Went to Columbia Asia who sent for cashless, I waited for 1 week and the cashless claim was rejected in very ridiculous reason. They I was advised to go though surgery and claim for reimbursement. I did that and sent all documents to them. They raise a query for additional documents which were already submitted. after 1 month, and multiple followups, on 9th June they said that everything is in place and get an update on disbursement on 13 or 14 June. On 14th June I was told that My claim was rejected because I had mentioned that I met with an accident whereas the hospital docs say that I had injury’Near Home’; and thus means I had a domestic fall. Which is absolutely nonsense. Since then I have not received any communications. I am going to file a case against them in consumer court for this. People should do this rather than just accept what they say. this is only way to make them realize the problems of clients.
