The hotel is very, very nice but it is very, very old. You can smell the age in the unventilated hallways, not a bad smell, but you can smell the years. The room was very nice, big and spotless, with a view of the wonderful courtyard. This hotel is dripping with ambiance, comfort and casual elegance. Its not snooty, but it is first class, and I have seen first class at the best resort towns in the States Service was second to none, the staff responds instantly to any requests. Watch out for the mini bar, it has sensors, and if any item is moved, you are auto charged for it. You have to ask for a refund if you did not consume the item, even if you returned it immediately. Overall, nice stay, but if you dont like historic buildings, stay away. Parking is $21.95 per day for guests. Riverwalk location is the best in town.
