Ladies Tailor is a murder of original telegu movie Ladies tailor starred by comedy legend Dr.Rajendra Prasad in 1986. Rajpal yadav has totally tilted the angle of good comedy towards a series of strangulating and awful sequences. It nowhere compares to original concept except daylight robbery of story and script. Originally it was well done in a pictersque countryside with hummable tunes with no traces of fatique from any artistes as we witness in this flick. I wonder what made these chaps feel a story 20 years old will work good with total blows to every part from incapable artistes who tactlessly tried to lead casts.
Rajpal yadav has been carrying stereo type comedy which makes one nausiatic and yawn. Bollywood is just picking good regional movies and turning them into semi porn flicks. Good stories and new artistses with calibre of actors from yester years are desperately needed to get back those classics from Bollywood. By just aping something so bad leaves you with a bad taste and is indeed an insult to original work. The only saving grace is there are no song sequences shot in valleys of Alps where hero rides a Harley or a Merc convertible and heroine flashes her dupatta. Over all I suggest you avoid this movie and even if someone offers you a free ticket just sleep in the movie hall if it has a good airconditoner and don’t forget to wake up during intermission for a smoke break;-)
