This movie has opened to a great opening (of course some bakwaas movies like KANK also had gr8 start but) this is lumbi race ka godha kind of movie.........
This movie touches your heart and at the end of the show you still want more n more of magic of Munnabhi n circuit and this time not alone but with the father of the nation.
Its hilarious from the first scene where a person is kidnapped very uniquely by circuit........
And it follows to introduce us to munnabhai who is in love with a RJ....
We are introduced to beautiful and sexy RJ Vidya Balan who says GOOOOOD morning very uniquely..
And what follows is munnabhai’s bhaigiri to meet her by answering a quiz on mahatma gandhi with the help of 3 people who knew abt gandhiji , these scenes are hilarious too specially when they ask how many kids gandhiji had and mostly circuit replies indira gandhi, rajiv gandhi ....... shows public n especially youth’s ignorance of mahatma gandhi...
For a lot of youth this movie revels principals of gandhiji in very unique yet simple yet practical way.......For many people its like munna said, haan mein gandhi ke maarg pe chalta hun ... M.G. Road pe road walk karta hua....Gandhi ko yaad karke 2nd oct ko dry day manate hai....
Actually this movie is very subtle also....
When Munna has to lecture abt gandhiji he has to really study abt gandhiji and there he encounters the strangest person and that is mahatma gandhi itself.....
And then his transformation begins...
From bhaigiri to gandhigiri in practical way..also as RJ
1) To tell everyone to remove all putlas, road names of gandhiji and instead keep gandhiji in heart
2) tells a person to admit his mistake of misusing his fathers money and standing up for ones action rather than cowardly way of commiting suicide (Jimmy Sergill)
3) Telling a person to clean paan ka thunk by a big bully to make him realise his mistake ( a very hilarious scene)
4) Most comic scene was a retired person awaiting pension, when has to bribe the govt officier with his clothes was very gud...........
5) Also against the crime taking route of satyagrah for Vidya balan’s house even when vidya has left him when she realises that he is not a professor
6) confessing to vidya that he is not a professor
7) Finally helping Diya mirza to love her father despite everything...
8) Asking everyone to send flowers to lucky singh ( Boman Irani) as get well soon ..
9) the most emotional scene where munnabhai tells circuit he is sorry..
I mean full movie is beautifully done....
Also the explanation abt gandhiji is logical, , , ,
Abt the cast, I can’t think of any other actor as munnabhai other than sanjay dutt... he rocks ...His judgement day in bomb blast case of 93 is just approching and he has given best performace of life...
Same is case with Dilip prabhakar as Gandhiji and Arshad Varshi as Circuit rocks.
Boman Irani is gud as a sikh builder.
Vidya balan leaves impression.
All characters, even in small roles does justice to their part like jimmy sergil, Diya mirza, Praikshit sahani , also 6 old man n 1 old lady......
Abt the script, KJo should learn that script is the soul of the movie from this movie...
Songs are good and at right place. Tapori song like Samjo ho hi gaya is good where sanju bit looks like sunil dutt in side ways...
Pal pal is good to listen with gud lyrics but the best is bande me tha dum Vande maatram..
This too at a time when Vande matram controvarsy is going on was gr8..
Thanks Vidhu Vinod Chopra n Raju Hirani for giving this fabulous movie and making young generation aware of work of Mahatma Gandhi......
(I am a big fan of mahatma gandhi from the begining)
