I visited Lakme Salon in Malleswaram off Margosa Road, 15th cross on July 25th. I have been a happy member of Lakme since many years, but this branch is the worst one with its incompetent staff and should be closed as it is spoiling Lakme’s image.
This branch was opened 3 months back. I had a discount coupon with complimentary pedicure and upto 40% off on hair services which was distributed while I was in Manti mall. Hence, I decided to visit the store.
I reached the store in evening around 5:30. I got pedicure done, which was ok. The hot water tub was not functioning, so there were manually getting hot water for pedicure which took long and was not the best one in terms of experience of pedicure.
Next, I got hair cut done. The lady who was doing it was inexperienced. She was a stylist(as what was charged to me for the services) but when I asked her about what would suit my face, she couldn’t respond. So, I gave my choice but the hell she did on my hair is unbeatable. Several times, I had to tell her that both sides of my hair are not even, and then she started cutting it again. By the end, she had chopped off most of my hair, in a dirty way. She completely destroyed my hairstyle. The way she was holding the mirror to show back hair and using scissors, I felt that she is one of those who is just learning and is very new to this profession.
For brand like Lakme, its a shame that franchise is given to people who spoil the brand name by keeping inexperienced staff. My hair style is completely spoiled and I would NOT RECOMMEND anyone to visit this store ever for any hair services!
