My wife went to Lakme Preetvihar- Delhi to take an appointment for make-up before her marriage. Fee told was 11000 Rs which she agreed to pay. This entire session was to be completed let in 3 sittings. After first sitting, lady there changed her statement and reduced the offer to less services. Before that my wife had paid 5000 Rs to them.
On the wedding day, Lakme put a make-up mentioning that it is water proof but during Vidai, all the make-up came down. My wife was suggesting the Lakme lady to do the make-up in a certain way but she refused to listen. Staff is untrained and they don’t look at the face and complexion and put the same make-up to all the customers.
Though I was not surprised with this poor quality of service as this was expected the way these beauty parlors charge money with-out providing any worthwhile service.
The artificial lifting to have ghoonghat was really poor as face size was not taken care off. Lady was insisting that they do same for all the cusotmers while my wife objected to take care of face type before same.
Please negotiate hard about all the possible services including details of the service to avoid such cheats. Try other parlors and at times, local parlors can be better in terms of charging a reasonable amt with better quality of service,
