Well they say ’Time is Money’ - this theory is rightly proven by lakme beauty saloons across India(without any exception). When a particular service needs 30mins, they skillfully wind it up in 20mins so that they can accommodate next client. The staff is so busy through out the day that they do not have time to stop and smile at a client as ask if the client was satisfied with the service.
Lakme Beauty Saloon’s motto is to keep the billing counter clicking every one min(had the billing machine like the old kinds that made’ding’ sound at every bill then one could hear it go’ding’ atleast every minute)
This motto is very professionally and strategically translated at all levels. For e.g.: The staff gets 5% of the amount billed to the serviced client. So if I have a to get more than one type of service done from there then they will start with the most expensive one(within that they will try to sell you the most expensive variant of the service like if I have to get a facial, pedicure and eyebrows then they will start with facial and try to sell you orchid petal facial which will cost some 1.5K which will not last for more than 30mins).
So the whole point is that if you are looking for something like’Value for Money’ then this is definelty not the place.
