Lakme Lip Love were one of my favourite Lakme launches when they first came out in the form of lipsticks. I stiled Rose kissed as my two favourite lipsticks EVER . But somehow those fizzled out a bit and then I remember falling in love with the Lip Love tub lip balms that launched some years.
Lakme’s lip love is in a newer avatar- these twist up hydrating lip balms claim to nourish and smoothen and impart a hint of color. Well the color part is kind of false cos these are pretty much colorless and atleast on my pigmented lips the color doesn’t show. But color is not my priority when it comes to balms, its hydration. In this aspect the lip love delivers albeit for a short span of time. After two hours or so my lips feel parched again and need to be slathered with another lip balm to soothe them through the winters.
