I used to buy Lakme stuff 10-12 years ago, and then again recently I bought two bottles of heir True Wear nailpolish, for about 90 bucks each(Clear, to use as a top coat and a translucent flesh tone for my fingernails).
I will compare the Lakme nailpolish with Maybelline Colorama(to be fair, since I bought both in India). Compared to Maybelline, the Lakme brush is of very poor quality. It doesn’t fan out when it touches the nail(as a good brush must to ensure even coverage). The Lakme nailpolish also dries verrry slooowly. It’s sticky and thick. On the other hand, the Maybelline nailpolish goes on evenly, dries fast and maintains a nice sheen.
I’d recommend Maybelline over Lakme(and best of all, the Colorama bottles are smaller and cheaper.75 bucks each).
