Yash Chopra’s classic love story. Love story in 1991 in rajasthan and England. Well you can’t get better than this I mean 1991 who the heck thougth of that, a love story I mean India was entering satelitte and computer age with lot of movies only being action and nothing else, I think the songs of this movie were so well written and sung that it was just an overnight hit, along with the music the movie was great. The story was not bad either, anupam’s comedy leaves a trademark in this movie. As I go back 13 year remebering about this movie and listening to ’’kabhi Mein Kahoo’’ song right now and writting about this movie it feels good.
No real hiccups with this movie, the reason for this movie’s success was that it was smoothly directed, well written and had been spent enough time on it, all the actors and actress got enough time and camera space to show their talent.
A must see movie for a collector of hindi movies, I know most of u have probably seen it time and again and again, well great. Than buy on DVD, one thing that the movie kept it secret until it was released on VHS back in 1991 was that its original theatrical version left out an antakshari paroody song in which anupam and sridevi just Made me laugh. Well hope version is in the DVD, since I haven’t bought it yet for this reason, just waiting for a better release. Anyways, a classic movie
