Since the very first landmark store appeared at the basement in Nungambakkam, a happening space in Chennai, I am hooked to this store. Chennai now boasts of four landmark stores, and yours truly has sampled them all, I still like the store in Nungambakkam, close second is the one in Citi centre, Stores in Spencer’s and Ampa Mall are very big and can get very crowded some times. Landmark stores have good collection of books on a variety of titles, the depth of collection is easily one of the best in India, in case, if you don’t find a book you can request for the same, depending upon to whom you place request you may or may not get your book:-).
Titles will engage a whole family of book-worms of all ages, from twilight saga to Osho, from Tagore to Russel , From Rowling to our own Ruskin Bond you will find them all in here.Educational books for both children and young adults are aplenty Various discipline of Management books are stocked in plenty.If you are still buying music from stores, then LM wont disappoint you it has inter nation, national and regional cool collections of music, video and documentaries. Stationary items, curios , chocolates, crystals and all the goodies are sold in plenty Perfumes too are sold out there The only disadvantage is as a part of their corporate policy ;-) they have only one chair for every 10000 sq ft of their shop area, so be prepared to stand and shop, that way they ensure you don’t fall asleep reading I guess!!
