We recently had a short trip to lansdowne... its so beautiful place. people who wanna hv a break from hectic life and just relax and enjoy the nature... Lansdowne is the place to be. No mobile coverage there except BSNL ones... My mobile was off for two days... what a wonderful day for all of us.
Not much of local sight seeing there which is good. Otherwise this place wud also be ruined like Shimla, Mussorrie, Nainital and Manali. Its a small and beautiful place. Not crowded like other hill stations. Just relax and soothe ur nerves there.
There are good places to stay in there. Garwal Mandal resorts, Fairydale Resort, Blue Pine Resort etc. We stayed in Fairydale resort. nice economical place to stay. not much of luxuries though. food is good there. There is GMVN’s Tip n Top resort which has the best location. Probably next time we wud stay in tht. Next time when we gonna be free... Lansdowne wud be the place to visit again. Go and visit there and enjoy.
