expectations at par

The book varied between the viewpoint of a kidnap victim and those of a police officer and her journalist partner who are investigating the case of a missing person (kidnap victim) and the murder of the victim’s boyfriend.

There is uncertainty in the police case as to whether the kidnap victim is missing or has run away to avoid the crime of murder.

However as the reader we know that she is being held against her will. I enjoyed the way in which the differing view points enabled myself as the reader to reach conclusions before the police and journalist investigating got there. I

also enjoyed the way in which all of the extra characters were involved in the various sub plots all culminating in the climax of the book.I would certainly be happy to read more by the author and in the series.
