Vintage Wodehouse

There is only one God ad his name is P.G. Wodehouse

This is vintage Wodehouse. A mildly improbable plot weaving around the eccentricities of the idle rich with romantic plots and sub-plots. Pick up the book for a lonely train journey. A word of caution though, I have found my co-passengers giving me strange sideways glances because I kept chuckling and giggling all through the journey. Or read it when you are confined to bed with illness. You will need no medication!

If you read Wodehouse, you’ll love Laughing Gas. If you do not, you do better begin fast. Life is too short to read any other author. Wodehouse weaves his legerdemain of satire and simile with such mastery that one can only conclude by saying that if you are tired of Wodehouse, you are tired of life.
