I live in Delhi with my family and I heard about the lavasa lot from my friends, so I made a plan to visit the lavasa with my family and than we reached pune through the train and after that we went to katraj place in pune where we got a taxi and we hired this taxi from katraj to Lavasa,
It is not easy accessible it is situated 60 km far away from pune and we faced lot of difficulties in Katraj for getting the taxi, and nobody wanted to go there because some timing issue was there to return back, and the taxi fare from katraj to Lavasa was very expensive.
There are limited sight seeing in lavasa like water sports, park and, it surrounds full of dam and hills, and there are some limited shops were there where you can get fast food and all, and instead of that there was nothing to visit at there, It was not that hill station which I was expecting alot.
We had stay in the hotel name called MERCURE LAVASA, .We had stay one room night and we paid Rs 7000 of it. And we belongs from the middle class family so this amount was very costly for us. and the room of this hotel was in pathetic condition, means pathetic housekeeping was there and pathetic food quality was there due to lots of spices in the food and access of oil in that.so this hotel is not good value for money.
According to the safety point of view, i would mention honestly which we faced.we saw there are few lights lighted in all area and it was all low lights, which makes unsecured environment and there were few population at there so management should makes all the area full of light but it was not, so be careful in the night in all the areas.
