Le chef is a restaurant for people looking for good veg. Food. It is located in crossriver mall, karkardooma ( east delhi) .
It was my brother’s birthday last week and we enjoyed a lot at crossriver mall. But for dinner we wanted something new as haldirams has become an old place now for parties and special occassions.
Finally we got know about le chef while roaming from one floor to another. As we entered the restaurant it was a small area with very little space. We easily got table but it was not the empty one. other tables were full.
Other group was also celebrating a birthday and they looked quite happy there which made us more sure about the place. Finally we got menu and ordered fried rice and manchurian with gravy, singapuri veg noodles, dal makhni, stuffed naan, green salad and pineapple raita.
Due to crowd we had to wait for about 15 minutes to get our dinner served but that was okay as we were 6 and were having chitchat and clicking pics there.
We got our dinner served. Tables were small so we hardly got good space to place all the dishes but somehow we managed. Crockey was good and attractive.
Food presentation was very nice and the quantity of food just surprised us. It was in tune with the prices ther charge. Each and every dish was delicious and we did not regret ordering any one of them.
Singapuri chowmin is supposed to be full with paneer and spicy but I dont know why they gave a totally different flavour to it. It was sweet in taste instead of spicy. But I must say they added so many surprised to it. Pineapple, baby corn, brocolly and other veggies made it like heaven.
3 of us liked this new version but other 3 were like what is this. Lolz. other recipes were amazing and tasty. Finally we asked for billing.
They served saunf which was also very nicw in taste. And we also got wet tissues for xleaning our hands which was something very interesting. Other restaurants generally give lemon water for hand cleaning but they did something different.
The bill was also very less for the quality they served. We all enjoyed a lot and ofcourse we are planning to visit there again and this time with entire family.
I totally recommend this place to everyone frequently visiting this area and looking for a different place to eat.
