I always thought of writing a review of the most loved pair of shoes Ive ever had.Ive always had a problem buying shoes coz I dont get ones that fit my feet comfortably.I need size 10 and above due to the huge size of my feet.
It was in 1999 my dad bought me these LC brown boots from a shop at crawford market.They were the only ones that fit me and had no choice however they were so comfortably that I couldve probably played football with my toes inside.They were the most comfortable pair I ever had.
Its been 7 years now I am still using them and this after wearing them in the rains , field trips and after numerous trekking expeditions.These shoes have taken it all.Yet no signs of giving up.The leather is still good and so are the stitches.Its only the sole that has weathered.After a quick shine at the local mochi they are as good as new.Well I havent even changed the laces.They are still the same.
I am looking for an excuse to buy another pair.But this time I will make an exception.Looking at the current products at LC and their finishing I dont think they would last for a year leave alone 7 years.The previous reviews just confirm it.LC products have lost it in quality and design.I was probably lucky to have an imported piece coz LC had just launched then and it had no tie ups with any co. here in India.
However my pair are still on my feet and they thats truly ’leather that has weathered’.
