I’ve never owned a pair of Lee jeans, but my friend has had a very bad experience with this brand.
You might think it too premature on my behalf to write off a whole brand on the basis of one bad experience, but before you do, hear me out and then decide whether you wanna buy a pair...
My friend wanted to put together a wardrobe before embarking on a trip to the U.S., so we went shopping for tee-shirts and jeans and stuff..and landed up at the Lee showroom in South Extension, New Delhi..thinking it to be an international brand of good standards. She picked up a pair after trying on quite a few--they don’t have a fit for everyone like Levi’s does...
And, she returned from the trip two months later, with the garment split at the seams!!!
She’s a slim person with extremely high metabolism and did not put on any weight on the trip, least of all, enough to split the jeans at the seams. Nor did she indulge in any rough activities that might have taken their toll on the item of clothing in mention.
Since then, I have been quite wary of this brand and request all of you to make enquiries before you decide to shop at Lee.
