The LeEco 2 is quite akin to the previous model bit it has got a few tweaks. It has the fingerprint sensor and metal body which made the LeEco 1 stand out of the crowd. It also has the LeEcosystem content and membership.
SKIN
The front of the phone is glass with body coloured panels on the top and bottom. The backside and the sides are made brushed metal which feels quite premium. It comes in various colours like rose gold, silver and grey. The only drawback on the outer is the Letv logo on the back which gives the phone a bit cheaper look. The power button is on the right with the volume button. And there is a tray for two nano sims on the left. There is a usb type c port at the bottom which also has a grill with the microphone on the left and the speakers on the right side if the grill. There is no 3.5 mm audio jack. The fingerprint sensor is on the back which has a mirror like finish.
SPECIFICATIONS
It has a Qualcomm snapdragon 652 processor which in a phone in this price segment is quite a good deal. It has 3 GB of ram with 32 GB of storage but it is not expandable which quite a setback. The screen is 5.5 inches with 1080X1920 resolution. The screen is quite good with no problems even in bright daylight. The camera is 16MP and can record 4k videos and the front camera is 8 MP.
PERFORMANCE
The phone does not overheat even after heavy usage and the battery lasts for the whole day at moderate to heavy use. The fingerprint sensor though takes some time to register and switch on the screen. There is some distortion in the speakers in loud volume but otherwise the speaker quality is great. The camera is one of the plus points in this phone. The images are sharp and low light and daylight photos are good
VERDICT
For a phone under 12000 it is quite a steal considering the hardware and quality of the phone. This phone looks better when compared to its competitors in the same price segment like xiaomi redmi note 3 which has a bit better specs at about the same price. Its just the phone for you if you are looking for something to show off without compromising much on the hardware.
