My Friend bought a new LE Max for which I asked him to Go and review it and here are our Results:-
LE is a Chinese Company.Their First Phone was LETV or LeECO which launched in INDIA with great hype
LE Max 2 comes among the series of LE Max.
It is available at a price of(INR.16500-21000/-) depending upon storage and RAM.
The Le Max 2 might be a slightly larger phone but it is one of most affordable device to offer a flagship class Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC.
In terms of build and design, the phone looks and feels like a slab of metal. The only real concessions to design and ergonomics are the chamfered edges. However, the front surface of the phone, while chamfered, still has sharp edges owing to the poor fit of the front glass panel in the well of the body.
the 5.7 inch screen features a resolution of 2560×1440, which translates to a PPI of 515.It’s very sharp. The panel itself uses LTPS IPS technology, where LTPS stands for Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Silicon. LTPS technology is used in many phones these days and offers lower power consumption than traditional LCD technology,
This LeEco flagship features a bright 2K display with good viewing angles.
It can take upon all kinds of tasks and is very well built.
To sweeten the deal, LeEco bundles a free subscription of Le Live and Le Vidi apps offering live TV and movie content.
Further, the 21MP rear camera does a good job as well, Focussing was fast in good light, but struggled in low light, especially with difficult subjects. Recorded video was also not bad and OIS helped to some extent.
Still, the camera isn’t bad at this price and the images look great on a smartphone screen anyway.
I spend at least 3 hours a day browsing on 4G while listening to music, watch a YouTube videos(an hour at the most) and maybe reply to a dozen or so mails. Calls and chat(FB and WhatsApp) is a little infrequent.
Le Max 2’s battery last upto 8 hours and 12 minutes.
Although the battery life could have been better.
