Face it Lenovo. Lenovo Y Series is the Worst ever laptop made! In 6 months since I have bought this piece, my Laptop’s LCD screen is exhibiting white screen errors for the second time.
There is no support in a city like Gurgaon. All the way I have to go to the horrible service center, somewhere walking through the cave-like stairs in Nehru place.
The service repair engineer made some false commitments. There is only 1 engineer with the team of RT Outsourcing, the team responsible for servicing all the range of Y-series.
Just because the Lenovo Y series is such a shabby piece of electronic work, Lenovo-IBM has’nt taken the ownership of providing servicing to these Laptops on their own, and rather outsourced the servicing to a hopeless, clueless team at RT outsourcing. I think I wasted Rs 50000 on this laptop & I’m surely going to throw this piece away in the trash.
POOR SERVICE! NO SPARES. I waited 4 hours in the service center for my Laptop to get fixed and I saw in the due course tons of customers thronging in with problems with the Y series like -
Hard-disc failure, Current Problem, Speaker problem, LCD Monitor problem, DVD Writer problem and many more such kinds of issues. The worst part is, the team at RT outsourcing is’nt even sure whether they are working on Tuesday the 28th of August(Rakhee Festival). Imagine a team of engineers not sure of its Holidays.simply pathetic management & service.
If someone at IBM-Lenovo reads this.PLEASE WAKE UP. you cant simply fool your customers simply by bring Saif & his sis in ads like that. I work in a company of 5000 employees & I’m going to make sure no-one buys a Lenovo ever.
Another PATHETIC POINT - It was a nightmare tracing the support number for the Lenovo’s outsourced RT service center. The number is’nt up there on the Lenovo website.
Why does lenovo provide support for some of its models(like the N series) at its support center in Sec 31, Gurgaon at the IBM office.and why isnt the service provided for all the models out there. Are the Y-series holders somewhat underpreviledged or what?
WHY CAN’T LENOVO setup a one-point WORLD-CLASS service center?
