A really nice hybrid laptop from Lenovo

The hybrid laptop scene is heating up and the Flex 2 is a good machine in the low to mid range budget. This is essentially caters to someone looking for laptops in and around the 35k-40k mark. The laptop is a touchscreen one and also can be used in laptop mode, touchscreen mode. The touch sensitivity is good and has 10 point multitouch configuration. It comes bundled with a WIndows 8.1 as the OS.

It comes in many combinations and configurations. There are options of Core i3 or i5 and an AMD A8 as processors, 2gb to 8gb of RAM, 500gb to 1tb HDD and also option of SSD. The screen itself is 14 inches. The hinges around which it bends are nicely protected and come with warranty.

It clocks out at 1.7GHz to 2.4GHz depending on the variant. For a regular user, this is more than enough power. The operation is smooth in terms of boot time and multitasking abilities. Most gaming, videos, movies should run effortlessly.

The laptop is moderate weight but is very sleek looks wise. The ports are neatly integrated on both sides. The finishing is just really great. The battery life comes out to 4-4.5 hours on average use.

The only complaint is you cannot use this in tablet mode i.e. no 360 degree bending of the screen. This could be a good option if one is considering a hybrid laptop that is comparatively affordable.
