Apparently this model is limited to charge to 60% of battery capacity when it is shipped. If you are planning to install only Ubuntu, then you might not be able to change that setting. I checked with customer care and they told me that they do not officially support Ubuntu, so that was useless. I tried various methods recommended to try and reset this setting by resetting the cmos, etc. Tried various versions of holding down the power button and yada yada, nothing worked for me.
