From a design standpoint, you can’t really expect a high-end chassis without compromises in the build quality but the Ideapadred.


The RAM can’t be upgraded as it comes soldered to the motherboard. Make sure you choose the appropriate amount of RAM since it cannot be changed.


The Ideapad 110 uses a passive cooling system because the Intel Pentium N3710 allows it. You won’t find any fans – just a big heat sink and a thermal paste applied to it for heat dispersion.


We test the reaction time of the pixels with the usual “black-to-white” and “white-to-black” method from 10% to 90% and reverse.


the right hand side, you have a DVD tray whereas on the left you have the power port, HDMI Out, LAN port, a USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 port and an audio jack. The SD card slot is located in the front edge.


Lenovo IdeaPad 110 uses a chiclet keyboard and the just above the keyboard you’ll notice the speaker grille section, where only the central portion has the speaker on it.


Thanks to the 15.6-inch form factor, it does come with a dedicated number pad as well.


So many times we did end up hitting the Up-arrow key instead of Shift. This will take getting some used to. The keys aren’t scalloped like the ones we have seen on the more expensive Lenovo laptops.
