Ideapad Slim 3 Snapdragon model really isn’t worth buying if you plan to game or code. The Snapdragon chipset inside struggles badly with performance heavy tasks. I tried using it for coding and casual gaming, but it overheats within minutes, making the fan kick in constantly. Once it heats up, the battery drains ridiculously fast, and multitasking becomes painfully laggy. Even basic switching between tabs stutters, so expecting smooth gaming is unrealistic. For its price, the Snapdragon chip holds it back too much. If you need reliable performance, this model isn’t the right choice at all.
