I bought this phone on Ebay a couple weeks ago. Your´re absolutely right, it consumes battery like it was powering an small village. I then did some research and could finally root it and have all the useless aplications uninstalled. I get about 80% more life out of the battery now. In my case, of all the apps, it was the File Manager that came with the phone that consumed arround 24% all by itself.
If your’re looking foward to upgrade the software to 5.1, have in consideration that it will not let you install google apps afterwards, you’re going to root the phone.So I don’t like it.
