Laptop manufacturer entering into the lucrative smartphone market is not new. In coming years, we have observed so many manufacturers. Among them, Lenovo is one of them. After establishing well in Personnel computer field, Lenovo has ventured successfully into smartphone Arena recently. My review is about "Lenovo K3 Note". So, here is the quick look,
Lenovo K3 Note smartphone launched in March 2015. This killer gadget has some wonderful features which set it apart from its competitors.
The phone comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 401 pixels per inch.
The Lenovo K3 Note is powered by 1.7 GHz octa-core Media Tek MT6752 processor and it comes with mega 2 GB of RAM. The phone has giant 16 GB of internal storage for large data storage and apps which can be extended to 32 GB via microSD card. About Camera, It has 13 megapixels of primary camera and 5 megapixels of front camera for smoother selfies.
Lenovo K3 runs of latest Android 5.0. It has a battery of 2900 mAh which is removable. It measures 152.60x76.20x8.00(height x width x thickness) and possess a weight of around 150.00 grams.
It has a few important sensors for example; Accelerometer, Compass, GPS, and Gyroscope.
In terms of wireless connectivity the phone is boosted by 4G LTE support, 3G Internet, WiFi enabled. It has wifi hotspot and Bluetooth as usual.It micro-USB interfaces. The size of Headphone port is 3.5 mm.It has advanced octa-core processor.
The device is exclusively available on Flipkart and e-bay under a price approximately 10, 000 Rs.
These were the specs. But, the device is also having an irritating practical response.
First up, it heats up too early and too large that you can not bear. It is like a hot oven.
Secondly, it has high SAR value.
One of my friends bought this phone three months ago. It produces so much of heat that he took it to the customer care service center. But, he was surprised to see that same problem is with so many devices. The technician cited that he can not do anything.
Another phone became dead in just two months of use. He has it give it to service center.
One of my friends, Jitendra; on the delivery day itself, it was connecting to any network, However times you remove the sim card and replace it back, was of no use.
He has requested for a replacement and got it within two weeks.
Another problem I came across is that the it loosing its connection every now and then.
Sometimes. speakers also did not function properly.You made a call to your friend and phone is received also but he cannot hear you. I have these issues so many times, trying to connect again and again but waste. Except this, the phone has beat many smartphone makers and has the fairly large business.
However, this phone has worked well in some hands. and no major issues were found.
Conclusion: It is always your verdict to buy or not because it was largest selling phone once.
