I Brought Lenovo K8 plus from flipkart.com during big "Diwali festival offer’ for 1500/- off and it took 5days to deliver my Lenovo K8 plus so delivery wasn’t that great. I initially had great impression on its specifications and I was pretty impressive about the dual camera configuration hoping it to produce good picture quality and resolution. it possess 13+5mp rear and 8 mp front camera and as soon as I opened the box the very first thing I did was to take a pic from both the front and back camera. The results are shocking as camera isn’t that great and its quality is very poor. The screen is only 5.2 inches and it feels very small on my hands
The adaptive brightness feature is bugged as its not adjusting to room light and Themes are limited. The Display of this phone could have been better for the price this phone offered. There is no fast charger offered with this phone as it takes long time to charge. The Lenovo K8 plus comes with lot of bloatware. and User Interface is not that friendly. The finger print sensor takes a lot of time to recognize.
There are some things that console me for buying this phone is the Audio Output of this device which is Dolby Atmos and offers good loud sound though it doesn’t come with headphones. The device offers additional music key which would be delight for music lovers, Good Battery life and No Heating problem and Value for money on paper. Latest OS 7.1.2
Overall built quality of the phone is good. I lost hopes on Lenovo’s Crafts men ship on their phone as there is no difference is design or build quality to its predecessors. I certainly feel they just dump the phone with latest configuration and deliver it to the customer.
I expected the Lenovo K8 plus to be Mi4 competitor but it wont even come close to it any fashion. I am very disappointed also I plan to sell it on OLX .
