After Collaborating with Motorola, Lenovo phones got some real action, I mean in terms of updates, sensors, performances. this will be very practical of me but it is true that if you think that Moto Phones are slightly over budget for you then you can go for Lenovo phones. I mean lets not forget that now Motorola is a part of Lenovo company and Lenovo is grabbing some technological things from Moto. After introducing the upgraded version of Lenovo K6 power i.e. Lenovo K6 Note, company finally introduced a massive battery packed phone i.e. Lenovo P2. Minor up gradation in the old Lenovo P1 and providing choice between RAM Size i.e. 3gb and 4gb respectively. previously Lenovo P1 was having snapdragon 615 and now it have 625 which is just like a overclocked version of previous generation with minor tweaks. I purchased 1 week ago online for my brother because he was very much frustrated with Xiaomi Redmi note 3. so here it is my review for Lenovo P2 after 1 week of usage.
pros:-
1) first of all the charger. it have a excellent charger that is very much efficient to charge this humongous battery of 5100 mah. I mean literally I was on Youtube and watching the comparison between Dash charger of one plus and Lenovo P2 charger. I was surprised at that time but when I actually experienced this, I must say it was very good experience. it take less time according to normal charger to charge this massive 5100 mah battery.
2) Super AMOLED screen is very vibrant and little bit darker on the black shade which produces sufficient amount of screen brightness and you dont have to worry about sun light. although its not very good if you compare this to one of samsung quality. but at this ptice point I can say it proove to be a pros not a con. Full HD resolution is common these days so not a big deal on this price point.
3) Gaming Performance of this phone is little bit impressive according to me. after all you get more time to play with that battery and this phone have less heating issue so thumbs up in this section.
4) Do I have to mention about battery backup? Probably I dont think so.
5) its little lighter than I expected so thumbs for that also.
6) oh! and I forget to mention about NFC. so get ready your all NFC devices to pair with this handset and yes it is a future ready handset because of NFC and android pay capability.
7) Added features like power saver button are really blessings. with power saver mode on you can save maximum power of your phone.
normal performance features:
1) camera is average. I mean dont expect impressive quality as it have 13 mp camera which is not as much as good as other flagships in this range, yes it includes CCT flash that is dual tone but common who take photos at night with smartphones. few ones. For Selfies camera at front is good enough to produce good results. Full HD recording is OK but is little bit on soft side. if you have shaky hands like me than you probably be disappointed by this.
2) well, as per the design I can say that nothing is new so its quite like identical to previous phones of Lenovo. but you know we cant complain on this issue as samsung has also done this with their handsets. so no big issue.
Cons:
1) Dont get fooled that it has dolby atmos then probably the speaker sound quality will also be good. it give little bit enhancement but nothing more than that.
2) hybrid sim slot is now being common. I dont know about you guys but I really miss dedicated sim slot so thumbs down for this. although we have plenty of memory in terms of ROM.
3) Vibe UI is little bit laggy and but I like themes, so this time they also given option of android launcher. so I am little bit confused now. on one hand if I opt for Vibe UI then I have to face laggy interface but on the other hand no lag and no theme support. kinda confused. I think there should be an option for theme in the android launcher than I have missed so I think I have to check for that.
4) No type C USB port.
so guys, if you want a battery pack monster with good gaming capability then I can say go for this handset otherwise camera lovers, I dont suggest you to by this.
my brother needs gaming and battery so this is a handset for him and that also with a fast charger.
