Looks: This is a 14 inch Business Laptop that carries day to day functions with ease. This one looks almost the same like its previous Thinkpad series. I sincerely wished they made it sleeker. The only difference being that compared to its predecessors, this one is much slimmer and lighter in weight.
My Experience: Launched in 2015, I have been using this for 4 months now. I like the speed with which it operates. It is pretty silent and doesnt heat up like the previous models. What is dislike is the fact that the battery draims off pretty quick in 3 hours, unlike its competitors which give more battery strength.
There are two USB slots on either sides behind, totalling 4 slots and an extra one in the front. This makes working with many connections easier. There is an HDMI slot and a Memory card slot too. A WiFi switch on/off slider is in front which makes it ideal when you are in public places and dont wish your laptop to be unnecessarily connected via Wifi.
The screen is decent with a backlit. I would have preferred a more vibrant screen though. As of now, the scren feels a bit dull compared to the Dell laptops.
Being lightweight, it is easier to carry around. The keypad is easy to work around. I especially love the red button scroller thats in the middle of the keypad that helps to move the cursor while typing. The Touchpad too is very receptive and quick.
Pros:
-Installed with latest Windows software
-Many USB ports and a Card reader
-Extra scrolling button on the keyboard
-Good clarity
-Lightweight and slimmer
Cons:
Last Word: Good laptop for daily use. Recommending!
