Lenovo is aggressively launching new phones these days, more than any other brands. The best thing Lenovo did with K5 and K5 Plus has Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset instead of the MediaTek, Like K4, K3 note.
Let’s come to K5, Lenovo Vibe K5 is a very nice phone in terms of hardware as it has the latest Snapdragon 415 processor with the 2GB DDR3 RAM it also has dual speakers on the backside of the phone which are loud and clear, a better 13mp camera for the price they are offering and the best part of this phone is the way it looks. It is the sexiest phone at this price tag.

Good things about Vibe K5

-Look, it really looks sexy, The grip is not too good and not too bad but rounded corners are great. ( Check the attached images.)

-Fast 2GB DDR3 RAM with 16GB onboard storage.
-Compact in size.

-Dual SIM ( micro+ micro) Dual-standby ( 4G+ 4G) .
-MicroSD card support expandable up to 32 GB. ( dedicated slot)
-Very big and slim removable 2750mAH lithium-ion battery but to make the most of it, you will have to use greenify app and uninstall the apps you don’t use and if apps are not removable then disable them otherwise battery backup is not good.
-Light weight to hold.

Bad things about Vibe K5

-Build quality, it feels a bit plasticky in the hands.
-There is no known screen protection. ( No gorilla, No dragon tail glass)
-Both rear and front camera not good as other competitors in the class, Redmi 2 Prime has a better camera.
-Bloated OS, OS is laggy as phone ships with so many useless stuff pre-installed on the phone, some of them can’t be even removed. ( You get only 10GB free space out of 16GB)
-No Marshmallow
-Ships with the 1.5amp charger instead of 2amp.
-Speakers are on the backside instead of the bottom.

Words on the VR bundle

I would not recommend you to buy this phone with AntVR, as it will cost you Rs 698 extra for the AntVR headset. You can buy a better VR headset for that price tag.

For now, Vibe K5 is the best and the sexiest handset you can buy under 7k with the latest Snapdragon 415 processor, DDR3 ram and Twin high-quality stereo speakers. The only things I don’t like about Vibe K5 is the Camera and the OS, for both Camera and the OS I would recommend you Redmi 2 Prime.
