Initially I was using xperia z1 and I was very much satisfied with the phone.
now I am using lenovo p1 which is lower mid range phone and good for this price.
Let us start with two attractive feature of this phone
Finger print- definitely quite responsive and good without any fail(100% success). I have read about failed attempt on finger print reading that may be due to improper placement of finger or improper registration of finger print. limitation- only two finger print can be registered.
5000MAH battery- battery back up should have been even more with this 5000mah battery. I am comparing this with my earlier phone xperia z1 which was featuring 3000mah battery with similar battery backup. so I had expected more battry backup than what I am getting
Ultra power saving mode- there is one switch to the left of this phone to turn on ultra power saving mode. its quite simple and one click use. it does not require rebooting like most of the other phone having same functionality.
Charging- quick charging is very upside of this phone.
performance- its average with this phone. its good for everyday use but its definitely not good for gamers. it lags with high resolution and 3D games. RAM could have been more.
Screen- it is definitely a downside of the phone. light sensor is not good. auto brightness mode is really pathetic. it is difficult to use this phone in bright day light and simply impossible to use in direct sun light. screen brightness for this phone 2/10 rating from my side
7.dual sim- dual standby with dual LTE and extra slot for memory card, upside of the phone.
8.Call quality- very loud. I dont know its good or bad. if u talk in full volume bystander will hear u clearly withou u switching on speaker. if u switch on speaker every body will hear it very loud and clear. if u r using microphone person on other side will complain because it picks up surrounding sound very loudly and there is no option to control noise. so u urself decide its good or bad.
9.Camera- definitely not upto the mark as compared to sony or samsung 13 mp cam. downside
Software- most of the bloatware can be removed- upside of the phone Permission can be mAnasultanged easily in the setting- upside. there are many things which I want to mention but due to time constrain I will add it later.
Secure zone mAnasultangement- a Samsung Knox like feature to have a totally safe data clearly separate from open space.
I will recomend this phone for average user.
other phone which I will recommend in this range is samsung j7, zenfon 2, even u can go for Acer liquid z630s(rs 10000)
