This is the third time i got myself a pair of glasses of Lenskart. My past experiences have been good although one of their specs i got earlier was faulty and the screw kept coming loose. But they fixed it a couple of times and gave me a small screw driver sort of thing to tighten the loose screw. But this time i got my glasses and it’s just been little over a week and its broken. The glass came out and the metal frame which looks glued to itself on both sides and has come off from one side. We have gold membership and paid 5780 for the specs. I don’t expect such expensive glasses to break so soon. Also the salesman said the frame looks delicate but is as hardy as other frames. There is written supreme steel on the side of the frame whereas it feels like cheap plastic and it has already broken from the joint where the top and bottom part of the so called "supreme steel" frame joins. This is not how it should be. Quality of product should not be compromised which i feel is being done. I got these specs as my power had changed and this is the only pair with the new power. I got it because i used to have headaches and because i have my entrance exams this month (april).I need a replacement immediately. I dont want it fixed as a broken metal frame cannot be fixed.I want it replaced not matter what. We paid 5780 for it and this is not a small sum of money for a pair of glasses. At this price i expect it to last atleast an year of not more. If I had known that this is the kind of situation Lenskart puts it’s customers in i would never have recommended it to my friends or bought from it myself. I expect an immediate response. A good after sales customer service and product is what keeps the customers coming back to the store.
